I was intending to post a section on the game over in the forums so that those having problems or who wanted help could post there.

If I've not posted anything by tomorrow please do post this prblem you are having in the game discussion forums, there may be someone able to help. It's more likely to be seen by the community and more help forthcoming. I can't do it on purpose.Īn excellent game for those who can finish it. My turtle sporatically jumps on gems to get farther but I don't know how or why it happens. It would be helpful if the HELP section had more detail about jumping since it's such an important part of the game. I watched some youtube vids and they just seem to double jump up to the next level. I can not jump to a higher level needed in leve 1-10 after rescueing about 6 little ones. It is indeed addictive but I am having a problem with it. The drive back down the mountain was much less harrowing for my wife, mainly because she could no longer see the dropoffs in the dark.I am commenting again on this one. It turns out that "Bill" has a few medical conditions and he an the restaurateur were both thankful for the little help we could offer. Once we determined that he was fine, I drove back to the restaurant and informed the owner of "Bill's" situation in the snowbank. On our way out of town, we encountered an older gentleman who slid into a snowbank and asked that we not call a tow truck because of the high fees they charge. It was a great meal of burgers and soup with the youngest of course having chicken tenders. It was in the single digits for temps (and not much warmer inside), but the host turned up the heat and threw a few pine logs in the fireplace next to our table. We pulled up to The Pickle Barrel restaurant after what my wife described as a terrifying ride on the Million Dollar Hwy. No doubt we had a blast in the powder and were exhausted at the end of the day.įor dinner we drove up the mountain into Silverton for some scenery and change of pace. My oldest lost a ski near the top of the lift as she turned near a tree and spent five minutes looking for it under the snow, lol. New Year's Day was a powder day!! The kids have never skied in powder like that, knee-deep and sometimes rolling up to their waist.

We were able to keep our rentals for the following day, thus avoiding the wait in the morning. We grabbed lunch on the hill at one of the slope side restaurants and finished up the day with a few more runs. We found it the right amount to find our mountain "legs", enough to cover any ice and not too much to make it work.

We headed out to the main lift not sure what to expect as far as snow conditions, it had snowed overnight, but not much. The rental area was a zoo to say the least, but I cannot say enough good about the staff there!! They made sure the boots fit and the skis were what we wanted, just all around helpful and they turned what could have been a frustrating morning onto a very manageable event. (We reserved online ahead of time which saved both time and money). Wife and kids got in line for rentals and lift tickets. I dropped my wife and the kids off at the entrance to the plaza and I went to park the truck. We got some inside information from our waitress the night before on where to park and where not to park.

On our first full day in Durango, we had the breakfast at the hotel and headed to Purgatory on New Year's Eve, apparently many others had the same thought.
